PeerStorage takes the work out of Hosts having to collect payments from each renter by either collecting the full payment upon booking or automatically charging the renter’s credit card on the same date each month as their start date. The renter pays after the host accepts their booking so when you receive a booking request and prior to moving their stuff in.
Hosts will receive their payouts 2-3 days after being sent by PeerStorage. Payouts will be sent to you through direct deposit through Stripe. This depends on the processing time of your bank and Stripe connect sending out your payment.
When you list your space, in order to receive your payouts, you need to create a Stripe account and connect it through your dashboard.
Hosts can pay a small fee to get listed on the featured section of our home page once you have built credit in your account. Featured listings are 83% more likely to be booked bringing more value to our hosts. Your space can become a featured listing by going to your listing, clicking edit (pen icon), then click the “Upgrade To Featured” button at the top right.

Hosts get paid once they request a payout from their account. You can choose the payment method where your payments will be deposited. We recommend users create a Stripe Connect account and connect this account with our platform so we can set up automatic and direct deposit payments. When hosts connect with Stripe connect, they will get paid automatically every month depending on the day of their booking.
Hosts have full control over their space and can choose how often and at what times the renter can access their items. The renter has to provide at least 24 hours’ notice to the host prior to accessing the space. Hosts define these boundaries when adding their listing so renters know prior to reserving your space. Hosts may choose whether to provide the renter with a key, or passcode to gain access to the area.
